The Guayusa herb used is grown and harvested exclusively for Nightwatch at a sustainable forestry project we set up together with the Quichua tribe and in collaboration with Green Matters Foundation in Ecuador.
Our team regularly visit the Quichua, allowing us to learn from each other. In addition to setting up projects for the sustainable cultivation of guayusa.
The Quichua have extensive knowledge of the jungle and the time has come for them to make a profit from their herbs. Young Quichua members adopt valuable knowledge that would otherwise be lost. By creating financial empowerment tools, we try to enable the local population to preserve their culture and the Amazon in their own way.
